Sprucing Up the Boardwalk

At their last meeting for 2011, Wildwood’s commissioners talked about making the Boardwalk a better attraction by cleaning up the front of some of the stores there – namely, by limiting the hanging of wares outside the stores.

There was discussion about a zoning amendment that would restrict signage and displays, although the commissioners stressed that such rules would not be anti-business, but in fact would take the clutter out of the Boardwalk’s appearance and attract a “better clientele.”
