WILDWOOD-  Citizens calling themselves the “Wildwood Watchdogs” will petitioning against a city ordinance.

Their target is the beach utility, which established two new city jobs: a  director and manager and the positions have been filled by Ryan Troiao and Chris Fox.

If residents approve beach fee’s on March 5, the utility will oversee revenue generated from activities on the beach, as well as beach fees and the utility will oversee all activities on the beach, from beach bars to cabana rentals.

The “Wildwood Watchdogs” are the same group that petitioned for Mayor Triaino’s recall in 2009 and recently petitioned against the purchase of land on Pacific ave for a skating rink.
