Morey’s Piers will have a reservation system in place for opening day July 2nd.

Morey’s piers sent out an email last night about their opening procedures for opening day 2020. Read the message below from Morey’s piers to season ticket holders.

“We are expanding our commitment to safety and cleanliness, starting with our Safe Play Promise. These strengthened procedures are designed to give guests greater confidence when visiting our facilities and our staff the protection they need to provide the best experience possible.

This summer is certainly not what any of us could have predicted – and since long before the governor’s announcement earlier this week – our dedicated staff has been working diligently to prepare a strong line-up of attractions for the remainder of the 2020 season. It is important to note that we will open Mariner’s Pier, Raging Waters, and the Runaway Tram on Surfside Pier when we open Thursday. Many of our signature attractions will remain closed due to several factors, including; work-stoppage for over two months, the shortened timeframe to reopen, current staffing levels, travel restrictions for overseas contractors, and social distancing guidelines just to name a few.

The attractions that will not be in operation upon reopening include, but are not limited to, The Sea Serpent, Great White, Great Nor’Easter, and Zoom Phloom. We are working to make as many attractions available to you as quickly as possible, and more rides will become available over time. Food and beverage, games, and access to the facilities will also be modified and limited in capacity and may be subject to closure at various times.

We know that many of you are excited to return and to continue making memories with your family and friends. As a result of state guidance, including reduced capacity requirements, we have made the difficult decision to implement a gate and reservation system for the piers and water parks this season. We understand that making the most of your season pass is important to you, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to enjoy the parks when you would like to.

If you choose to visit the piers without a reservation you will be required to wait in the standby line and will be admitted only if there is capacity available.”
