🌳 Parks & Recreation Upgrades
- Harborview Park is set for a $1.4 million renovation in winter 2025, backed by county grants and historic preservation approvals.
- Lafayette Street Park continues its phased development, with new playground safety surfacing and the debut of the Cape May Nature Trails.
- A dog park relocation and bocce court construction are also in motion, funded by an $868,416 Green Acres loan from NJDEP.
🚶♀️ Promenade & Infrastructure Projects
- The Promenade Preservation Project, powered by a $6.7 million state grant, is on track for completion by May.
- A $5.9 million Sanitary Sewer and Water System upgrade has been awarded to L. Feriozzi Concrete Co., with roadwork, drainage, and utility replacements planned across the city.
