Floss Stingel, known as the voice of “Watch the Tram Car Please” on the Wildwood Boardwalk for more than 50 years, has filed a lawsuit against Wildwood Tram Car Operators for “Misappropriation of likeness & unjust enrichment.”

In a fascinating turn of events, the Tramcar is looking for a new voice! Floss Stingel’s voice has become synonymous with the Wildwood tram cars, echoing the iconic phrase “Watch the tram car, please,” since 1971. After the lawsuit, they are removing the original voice of the tramcar and looking for someone with a great voice to replace the original.

There will be an open call for people to try out for the new voice of the Wildwood NJ boardwalk tramcar for this season. The date and time have not been confirmed. Stay with us for updates on this story.
