Excitement is rising in North Wildwood as the City Council has approved extended operating hours for Seaport Pier bar and restaurant during the Barefoot Country Music Fest in Wildwood. SPTWO, the venue operator, has requested permission to serve alcohol until 3 a.m.—a departure from the usual 1 a.m. cutoff—during the festival, which runs from June 19 to 22.
This approval is contingent on authorization from the state Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control and includes specific conditions. Live music must conclude by 11 p.m. on select nights, while outdoor alcohol sales will end by 12:30 a.m. Additionally, outdoor consumption must stop by 1 a.m., with any activity between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. restricted to indoor areas.
If the state ABC denies the extension, alcohol sales will revert to the 1 a.m. deadline. While festival attendees are expected to adhere to these guidelines, the Barefoot Country Music Fest promises an exciting lineup of entertainment for all. Let the festivities begin!
