Are the lifeguards still protecting the beaches in The Wildwoods?

We have again received over 100 emails and messages about lifeguard coverage on the beaches in The Wildwoods.

The last day of lifeguard coverage in the City of Wildwood was September 13th.

The last day of lifeguard coverage in the City of Wildwood Crest was also September 13th.

The last day of lifeguard coverage in the City of North Wildwood was September 20th.

The beaches are no longer guarded, enter the water at your own risk, or even better, do not going swimming. You should never swim on an unguarded beach. The latest weather conditions have caused Coastal erosion and strong wave action,along with coastal flooding that carries away sands along the coastal beaches. In case of an emergency please call 911

North Wildwood took the hardest hit and parts of the beach access is closed due to flooding and some to construction.
