Battle the Beach (BTB) is a hybrid event – combining the endurance of a 5K run, the difficulty of running on the sand, the color explosion of a Color Run and the obstacles of a Mud Run! That’s right, we are placing 10-12 obstacles on the beach along a 3.1 mile course in Wildwood. There will be walls to climb over, tire swings to navigate, a cargo net, tunnels, hurdles, balance beams, sand mounds and water crawls all while on the beach and in the sand. You only need $20 to register but must raise a minimum of $75. The minimum $75 is required to participate in the event which gets you an event t-shirt, finisher medal and entry into the BTB Bash. Proceeds benefit the Special Olympics New Jersey. Registration/check-in will take place from 7-9 a.m.; the run will begin at 10 a.m. Check back for updates.
