We were the first to break this story about this block being sold when we reported last week The Fractured Prune was moving to the next block when we talked to the owner and he told us the property was sold. Last year the boardwalk block stores from 20th to 21st street were put up for sale and the asking price was 3,297,000. The property was under contract but the deal fell through at the end of last year. This month the property was sold for 2.9 million.
This is what the listing said: βOne whole entire Block of Real Estate, on the World Famous Wildwoods Boardwalk. Located in the North Wildwood, adjacent to Seaport Pier, Many businesses and the 1900 Building. Developers Should sit up and take notice of this large beach front parcel , which includes a giant parking lot attached to the Property. Now is the time to purchase and get plans rolling for this exciting, RARE Ocean , Beach and Boardwalk Opportunity, in Southern New Jersey! 9,000,000 Visitors a year Stroll this promenade, by the Sea. Your Vision will be showcased for the World to see.β
We searched public records and it was sold to New Jersey LLC. We did a online search about them and the only info on them was some bankruptcy info from 2015. This block had The Fractured Prune, Ed’s Funcade, 3 Brother Pizza and Seaport Beach Outlet.
We broke this story first, so if you see it on another other socail media source like always, they like to copy everything we do without doing the research. We are flattered that they loved to imitate our reporting and posts.
