“Boardwalk II” is a sequel to “BOARDWALK: Welcome to Wildwood By-the-Sea,” a 2004 documentary that also premiered at the Cape May festival, and was shown frequently on PBS.
“Boardwalk II” is the work of local film-makers Bob Ingram, Tony Deutsch, Anthony Deutsch, and Raymond Becker, and the sequel again follows self-proclaimed “Boardwalk rat” Bob Ingram on his travels along Wildwood’s fabled Boards, including interviews with legendary deejay Jerry Blavat, Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano, and various Boardwalk personalities and friends.
One critic, Harry Williford of Cineaste East, said of “Boardwalk II”: “I liked it better than the first one.”
A festival after-party is planned for the Tom Cat Restaurant on Rio Grande Ave. in Wildwood.
To make reservations for the screening and the after-party, call Bob Ingram at 609-465-9968.
