WILDWOOD CREST – One of the hottest bands in the Delaware Valley is set to take the stage at Centennial Park this weekend.
Chico’s Vibe, one of the most versatile, wide-ranging acts on the regional entertainment circuit, will play at Centennial Park Sat., Aug. 18 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series.
A major name on the Philadelphia entertainment scene for years, Chico’s Vibe has gained tremendous popularity along the Jersey Shore as well, thanks to a musical style that ranges from Motown and oldies to pop and classic rock and roll to today’s hip-hop and rhythm and blues.
A nine-piece band with a four-member horn section, Chico’s Vibe features a musical style that spans multiple decades and genres, covering a wide array of artists from, for example, Etta James and the Beatles to Billy Joel and the Black Eyed Peas. The band regularly performs at nightclubs, weddings, corporate functions, private affairs and more, all with sensational flair and showmanship.
Saturday’s event is a free all-ages show. Attendees should bring a blanket or a chair.
Centennial Park is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue.
