Don’t by into the hype about hurricane Florence by the weatherman. We are expecting a beautiful weekend for the NJ State Firemen’s convention, fireworks and parade, Boots on the Beach and the Downtown Farmers market this weekend.

Hurricane Florence is far to the south and the projected path has it making landfall in the Carolina’s and then go west, NOT up the east coast.  All the boardwalk stores will be open, Morey’s Piers and the Firemen’s Parade will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. along New Jersey Avenue, from Cresse Avenue in Wildwood Crest, proceeding north to 20th Avenue in North Wildwood.

We will have rip tides, high surf, and wind, that’s it. If you’re planning a trip here this weekend please plan on coming because the weather is going to be great! Temps expected to be around 80, hot, humid and sunny most of the time.
