The Shutter Grid is an exhibition tool similar to a large television that holds thousands of photos that can be searched and it is being made available to the Doo Wop Experience Museum on Ocean Ave. at a reduced price from Lynch Exhibits in Burlington, according to Lynch’s Frank Nave, a huge Wildwood fan.
“There’s a matrix of images and when you select a specific image, it expands and the rest go away, giving you more information, which can be audio, video, or text,” according to Nave.
The Shutter Grid needs two things to be a Wildwood reality: pictures from visitors and enough money to buy one. Send donations to Shirley Cruz at the Doo Wop Preservation League, P.O. Box 1703, Wildwood, NJ 08260. Visit www.doowopusa.org to learn more.
