Sad news from Wildwood Crest, NJ. We have multipe reports from our inside sources that The El Coronado Motor Inn in Wildwood Crest will NOT open for the 2020 season.

We know that all their reservations are being directed to another motel in Wildwood Crest that were reported to us by guests who were planning on staying there.

Hello friends and guests,

This notice comes with heavy hearts and the deepest of regrets from the management staff of the El Coronado Resort. We must advise you that due to the lack of employees that are not returning to the hotel for seasonal work, it leaves the hotel in a position of not being able to function or provide the services necessary to operate a resort vacation destination. Therefore, effective today, the hotel will be closed for the 2020 season.

Multipe vendors and others told us the same thing, and on booking.com you cannot book a room there, no matter what dates you choose it says not available. This is the 2nd hotel we know of so far that will not open on the island this summer. The first one was The Sandpiper in North Wildwood.

We tried contacting them and sent a message thru their Facebook page and have not received a response yet. We wish them the best and hope they have a great 2021 season.
