“A Century of Memories” takes readers on a journey through history, from the city’s beginnings, and the merger of Wildwood borough and Holly Beach, to its emergence as one of the world’s great seaside resorts. Wildwood is also notable as the Birthplace of Rock and Roll, and is home to the nation’s greatest collection of mid-20th century architecture, affectionately known as “Doo Wop” design.
