This week (April 24) a new mural is being painted on the side of the longstanding gym at 10th and New Jersey. · This mural is being unveiled to help announce the gym’s change of ownership last year and name change this May from “The Gym at 10th” to “Shore Fitness at 10th” · The owners Ron and Stacie Tedesco have made significant investments to renovate and modernize the gym, offering new amenities like 24/7 access, an expanded and new turfed outdoor gym and the ability to buy and manage your membership online. · The owners worked with Cincinnati based design firm goDutch on the new branding, seeking to both honor the legacy and nostalgia of Wildwood and celebrate the elements residents and visitors most love about the Shore – the sun and waves.
The new tagline “Raise the Bar” will be featured in the 85 ft long x 21 ft tall mural facing 10th ave. This text along with the visual of multiple arms raising a barbell are set on a sea of blue waves and feature the gym’s new logo on a lit sign as the ‘sun’. · The art celebrates the owner’s commitment to ‘Raising the Bar’ – welcoming all in the community and inspiring others to achieve more when we expect more, from our gym, ourselves, and our community. · The mural is being painted by Philadelphia mural artist Brittany Grala, owner of “Hope is the way, Love is the Answer” who is both an artist and yoga teacher. https://www.hopeisthewayloveistheanswer.com/, Monday, April 24 2023,
