North Wildwood’s 2013 Season of Fun Starts Now!

 

NORTH WILDWOOD – From sporting events, to parades, to festivals and fireworks—we have a full schedule of special things to do this season.

At noon on March 23, come to the Island of Flags in front of the Rec Center, 9th and Central avenues, where the Greek flag will be ceremoniously raised in honor of Greek Independence Day. If you have questions, please call 609-602-0056.

On March 24, hundreds will participate in a 26.2 mile road race that begins in Cape May City at 9 a.m. and runs through our City. It’s the Ocean Drive Marathon and it benefits non-profit organizations that serve Cape May County. Come out and cheer them on! Questions? Call 609-523-0880.

Easter weekend brings three important events to our City. First is the Elks Easter Egg Hunt on March 30. It’s sponsored by the Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge 1896. The Hunt takes place at noon at 19th Avenue and the beach. It’s for kids 11 and under and it’s free! Simply register at the event. Call 609-729-2170 for more information.

On Easter Sunday, March 31, join the First Baptist Church of Anglesea for the Easter “Son” Rise Service. It’s at the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Gazebo, 1st and Central avenues at 6:30 a.m. Call 609-522-2951 for more information.

Then, between 12:30 and 2 p.m. bring the kids 12 and under for fun at Ed’s Funcade Easter Egg Hunt in the Hay on the Boardwalk at 23rd Avenue. It’s free, and kids can win big prizes! Call 609-729-3223 for more information.
