Big changes are coming to the northern end of Ocean City’s iconic Boardwalk! 🏖️ On Friday, City Council voted 6–1 to approve a $4.2 million reconstruction project stretching from St. Charles Place to Fifth Street.
The facelift promises:
- New decking and structural improvements
- Enhanced safety and accessibility
- A refreshed look for one of the Shore’s most beloved stretches
But not everyone is on board. One councilman raised concerns about the materials being used, questioning their durability and long-term impact. Despite the pushback, the project is moving forward and is expected to begin later this year.
Ocean City continues to invest in its future—preserving tradition while building for tomorrow.
