A new event venue is set to make its mark on the North Wildwood Boardwalk – ‘The Pelican at Montego Bay’. The North Wildwood Planning Board recently gave the green light for this new 200-seat private event space, which will be situated on the grounds of the Montego Bay Resort at 1700-1710 Boardwalk.

The architectural renderings for ‘The Pelican’ have been unveiled, offering a glimpse into what promises to be a standout addition to the Boardwalk. This two-story coastal-style building will feature covered porches, large windows, white clapboard siding, and a traditional cupola, exuding a timeless Jersey Shore charm.

The Pelican will operate independently under its own name while being part of the Montego Bay family of properties. The vision behind this venue is to create a space where people can come together to celebrate life’s significant moments, whether it be weddings, corporate retreats, family gatherings, or festive parties.

Designed with hospitality in mind, ‘The Pelican’ aims to provide a unique event experience where memories are made and traditions are cherished. The venue is expected to open its doors in 2027, offering a picturesque setting for a variety of occasions.

This approval marks another step in the development of the North Wildwood Boardwalk, bringing a dedicated private event space to the area.
