As we reported last week, the Original Fudge Kitchen closed at 22nd and the boardwalk.

Now a new fudge shop will open at the location, Quinn’s Original Fudge Island will occupy the location for the 2023 season.

Here is what the new owner says on Facebook:

Quinn’s Original Fudge Island. My name is John Quinn and I worked for the Bogle’s for 32 years. After they sold Fudge Kitchen last year, I was let go by the new owners. I decided to open a new Fudge and candy store. It will be at 2200 Boardwalk in North Wildwood. Please give me a chance to show you my new shop and maybe become one of your new seashore traditions. Open this coming February!!
