Our cowgirl girlfriends at Okey-Doke Ranch in Wildwood have moved their beach riding academy from the south end of the Boardwalk to Maple Ave. and the Boards and are offering rides beginning at 5 p.m. every evening. During the season, the horseback riding action is confined to the Ranch’s spacious corral and the pony ride circle. In the off-season, there are one-hour rides along the surf that some friends of the Blog were among the first to take and raved about.

Gia, the popular Italian restaurant that was at Garfield and Pacific is no longer at that location. Word is that Gia will re-open at 7400 Ocean Ave, Wildwood, Crest, NJ shortly. Also, the closed Gia site will re-open tomorrow, June 26, as Gioia, pronounced Joy-ah, according to their website.
