The Cattle and Clover -Great Music – Great Food – Good Times

Last night I went to The Cattle and Clover to see my old friend Jon Paxton, I have know Jon since we were kids and he has come along way from the early 70’s where he was a builder and had 1 truck. When the real estate boom hit in 2001 Jon’s company built many condo building among other properties, he parlayed his hard work into 3 restaurants on Pacific Ave, The Cattle and Clover, Juan Pablos and The Good Fish Grill on one block of Pacific Ave, and now know as ” Restaurant Row”

The Cattle and Clover was originally the Rainbow Club where Chubby Checker sang his famous hit “The Twist” in the 50’s, so this place has a lot of history. It is a beautiful restaurant inside and really looks like a Cape May establishment with a spectacular oval bar, pool tables and about 20 TV’s. The food was excellent and not your regular bar food, this place is an upscale restaurant and bar that you have to visit when on the island.

The Boardwalk Blog recommends this restaurant for anyone who is looking for something different in their dining experience, you will be pleasantly surprised when you visit The Cattle and Clover and this is a must stop for dining and entertainment when you are in The Wildwoods.
