Welcome NJ State Fireman and  this weekend starts the 2012 NJ State Fireman’s Convention in Wildwood, NJ. Last night I rode my bike on the boards and 90% of the boardwalk stores were open and there are fireman t shirts in the stores, signs welcoming the fireman and even groups of fireman walking the boards.

 

Six hour parade culminates the convention highlighting more than 80,000 firefighters, fire apparatus, equipment, craft show, bands and floats.

 

The total number of NJ State firefighters in Wildwood will be about 20,000, but ad in their , children, spouses and other members who come to spend time on Five Mile Beach and you are looking at an estimated 80,000 no including everyone else. It is going to be a great weekend !!
