I went to The Rook in Wildwood located at Poplar and Pacific at the former Good Night Irene’s.
I had the pleasure of meeting the Ray and their guys working on the building. It has been completely gutted from ceiling to floor. The plan is to be open by Memorial Day weekend 2025.
What we know is they will be serving the same food as The Rook in Philly. (https://therookmanayunk.com/)
They told me seafood dishes will be added, pizza and maybe flatbreads. They will have the second-floor porch open for seating and dining. The outside bar will have a new stage built for great music on those hot summer nights.
The Rook in Wildwood will be serving their Philly-inspired menu, and it has indeed won several awards for its cheesesteaks. The Rook’s cheesesteaks are celebrated for their authentic taste, high-quality ingredients, and unique twists that set them apart from the competition. Their success in various cheesesteak competitions has helped solidify their reputation as a top destination for cheesesteak lovers.
If you’re a fan of cheesesteaks, The Rook in Wildwood is definitely worth a visit.
