That familiar “Watch the Tramcar, Please!” is rolling down the boards again, kicking off another season of sunshine, smiles, and classic Wildwood vibes. The Sightseer Tram Cars will return to the Wildwoods Boardwalk starting Mother’s Day Weekend, with service kicking off on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Whether you’re here for the rides, the pizza, or just that boardwalk breeze — hop on and enjoy the first rides of the year. Summer starts NOW in Wildwood.

To start the season, tram service will run on Saturdays and Sundays beginning May 9 through May 17, with rides starting at noon. This year they will add electric Volvos as the engines pulling the tramcars. Look for these new Tramcar Volvos this summer. Photo is AI generated; we have not seen them yet!

Once Memorial Day Weekend arrives, things ramp up. Service will run from Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25, also starting at noon and continuing after Morey’s Piers close.
