Supermoons occur when the Moon’s orbit brings it to the closest point to Earth while the Moon is full. February’s full moon dubbed the “snow moon” because of the snowfall during this time of the year.
Last month’s Super Wolf Blood Moon total lunar eclipse was the first of 11 full moons this year. Here is a list of the full moons and their names this year.
