A tragic incident unfolded in Sea Isle City when a swimmer was pronounced dead after being pulled from the water. The Sea Isle City Beach Patrol received an alert around 4 p.m. that a man had suddenly gone underwater near the beach on 59th Street.

Lifeguards quickly located the submerged man and brought him ashore. Both the beach patrol and emergency responders initiated life-saving measures, but unfortunately, the man did not survive. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was officially pronounced dead.

At this time, the identity of the deceased swimmer has not been disclosed, and the incident is still under investigation by authorities. This tragic event serves as a reminder of the importance of water safety and the unpredictable nature of the ocean.
