The purchase of the City’s new fire prevention trailer was made at no cost to the taxpayers of the City of North Wildwood, through the use of grant funding provided by the United States Department of Agriculture totaling $46,600.00, in conjunction with private donations that were allocated specifically for the 25% match ($29,871.00), covering the total cost of $76,471.00 for the purchase of the City’s new fire prevention trailer.
“It is always gratifying to see federal, state and local governing bodies working together to provide municipal infrastructure improvements, and financial assistance to purchase much needed equipment for communities like ours,” said Mayor Patrick Rosenello. “On behalf of the City of North Wildwood, I am very appreciative of the USDA’s partnership, and I look forward to strengthening our relationship with that branch of the federal government as we look toward future, mutually beneficial public safety initiatives,” said Mayor Rosenello.
