The 4th of July fireworks cannot top the surprise marriage proposal tonight at 6pm when Corey Besack ask Lauren Curtis to marry him at the candy wheel on Mariners Landing.

A friend of mine ask me to do her a favor and see if I could set it up so Corey could drop off the diamond ring at 4pm and stop back with Lauren at 6pm to propose. So when Corey and Lauren approached the candy wheel they place a bet and won right away and the girl in the stand handed Lauren the ring box,, I was hiding behind the post on the corner of the candy stand so I could get some great pics as it all happened.

Corey went down on one knee and ask Lauren to marry him and she said yes, as all of her family came out from hiding on the front of the pier.

Congratulations to Corey and Lauren as they ride that roller coaster into the future and someday bring their children to Mariners Landing and show them the place where Dad proposed to Mom on the 4th on July, 2013.
