The Wildwood Beach Taxi is a hidden gem located on the beach at Oak Ave & the Boards in Wildwood NJ.

The Beach Taxi, operated by DK Rentals,Inc., was a media star even before opening for the 2001 season. Local media coverage snowballed into a three-column feature in the New York Times, complete with two photos. The beach taxi will ferry you to your beach location for $2 for adults and a bean for kiddies — including luggage. A spokesperson for DK Rentals told this Blog that the idea for the taxi came about because “all the people wanted it.” The people spoke, and the Beach Taxi was born. Amen.
