The Boardwalk Blog endorses the encumbent BLT team

If the recent debate at the Chamber of Commerce did nothing else, it showed who has the political savvy, business acumen, and plain old street smarts to lead the City of Wildwood.

Based on their showing there, as well as what is becoming a proud track record, The Boardwalk Blog endorses the encumbent BLT team – Commissioners Pete Byron and Tony Leonetti and Mayor Ernie Troiano, Jr. to continue what they have started.

Their debate presence, assured and assertive, stood in sharp contrast to the often waffling answers from other candidates. They were prepared and eager to debate the issues – and admittedly there are several in a small resort town with an urban edge like Wildwood – and offered solutions either under way or planned for the immediate feature.
These three men — a realtor, a retailer and a cement contractor – have their ears inescapably to the ground that is Wildwood and the business and street sense to act on what they hear.
We endorse them with two words: carry on.
