According to our inside sources, the Wildwood Ferris Wheel is still on track to be back up by Memorial Day — even after someone decided to pull off one of the strangest heists in boardwalk history.

Yep… several steel parts were actually stolen right off the beach from the temporary work area during the refurbishment. The man was caught and charged.

Despite the setback, crews have been pushing hard, replacements are in, and the plan is still to have that iconic wheel lighting up the Wildwood skyline for Summer 2026.

Because let’s be honest… it wouldn’t be the Wildwoods without a little chaos and a whole lot of comeback energy.
