Wildwood to Open Beach Parking This Weekend

Parking at the Baker Avenue beach lot will start at 10 AM on May 25th

WILDWOOD – The City of Wildwood has announced its beach parking lot will open for the 2019 this Saturday, May 25th at 10 AM. The lot, at Baker Avenue, was opened last year and had much success which lead to an expansion of the space for 2019. Operated by Beach Services and Beach Patrol, the parking lot creates an opportunity to get even closer to the beach, ocean, and boardwalk. 

The lot features parking for 4 wheel drive vehicles at $10 per car. Currently the lot accepts cash only. Times and hours will be weekend from May 25th through June 9th from 10 AM to 5 PM and daily starting June 16th with hours to be released at a later date. 

From the parking lot beach goers can easily hop on the Beach Taxi and get shuttled straight to a spot near the water. In June, designated handicap accessible parking will launch with a whole new fleet of beach wheelchairs from Wildwood Beach Patrol.
