The only comedy club on the island is closing it’s doors forever and will not re-open for the summer of 2013, my good friend the owner of the comedy club Mark “The Don” Vito called me yesterday and confirmed that the club has been sold. I wish Mark the best of luck in the future and we are really going to miss him. The Club Casba, as it was know in the 70’s and 80’s is where they use to play the Rocky Horror Picture Show all night long, every night, it has been there as long as I can remember.

My other inside sources tell me that a local known restaurant family on the island has purchased the property and are going to possibly open a brick oven pizza restaurant, and probably use the same liquor license. It is going to change the look of  the island again as another landmark disappears into the history of  the island.
