Franconi’s Pizzeria & Ristorante – Hidden Secret on the Wildwood Boardwalk

Wildwood NJ 8/20/2012

Tony and Debbie Franconi  have the biggest secret on the Wildwood Boardwalk, their restaurant is not your typical boardwalk restaurant, of course they have pizza, steaks and hoagies but step inside this traditional red and white Italian dining area and open a menu and you will see what the secret is !!

They have been at this location for 7 years, but have 3 other location in Lansdale PA, Willow Grove PA, and Huntington Valley, PA which they have owned for the past 30 years.

They are a Real Italian Restaurant hidden on the Wildwood boardwalk at Oak Ave, their menu has over 100 mouth watering Italian dishes, I mean real Italian food and everything is made fresh  on the premises daily,  like real Veal Parm $14.50 , Veal Picante $16.95. and Veal Marsala $16.95 and other Italian Specialties like Fettuccine Alfredo $13.25, Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp and Scallops $16.95 and pasta galore, . Gnocchi, Ravioli, Stuffed Shells and Eggplant Parm.

My wife and I ate dinner there last night my wife had the Veal Parm sandwich and I had Chicken Italiano,  breaded chicken breast’s with spinach, roasted peppers and provolone cheese on a kaiser roll,  the food was 5 stars and so was the service, I was blown away with the quality and taste and my wife’s sandwich was stuffed with REAL veal and just as unbelievable is their prices and desserts. I would have to say that this is a hidden gem on the Wildwood Boardwalk and a must stop for anyone looking for a really great dinner at a great price.
