Local Businesses Donating Materials and Volunteers are Making Mask for Cape Regional Hospital. Can you sew?

Fabric is being donated by Rapunzel’s on the boardwalk in North Wildwood and elastic is graciously being bought and donated by Anthony Deutsch Technology! If you are stuck in your home (like most of us, of course) and want to help… please contact via Rapunzel’s Facebook page. Scotts Metal Shop of Rio Grande is helping us run items back and forth as well! The hospital asks that we do not wash the materials; they will sanitize the masks.

Donna Dorworth is also volunteering her time sewing mask every day. We are looking for more volunteers to sew mask.. we will donate the materials..all you need is a sewing machine.

If anyone would like to help sew masks for the hospital we have precut materials available for you. We will collect the finished masks and bring them to the hospital on the days we drop off. Cape Regional has let us know that they see no end in sight for when they *won’t*
need masks… so they would love if we could keep making them until further notice. We are mostly in need of people with their own sewing machines who would like to make these at home. We do have people cutting fabrics and other materials. The materials are precut 100% cotton, precut elastics, and instructions. You will need thread, pins, and a sewing machine to complete the masks.
