North Wildwoods beaches will be replenished and ready for this summer.

North Wildwood beaches had significant damage from the winter blizzard “Nemo” on Feb 9, 2013 which dumped 24.9 inches of snow in Boston, but North Wildwood suffered beach erosion and damage to the north end dunes.

At Hereford Inlet some cliffs had formed between there and Fourth Avenue and in the works for the city is a beach replenishment project. To cut costs the city hopes to share services with Stone Harbor, it will significantly cut costs if the two municipalities can share services.

This beach replenishment project will be completed by this  summer, and the  Federal Emergency Management Agency will reimburse the city 75 percent of the costs of this project.
