The Wildwood Boardwalk will be repaired for the Tramcar to travel on this summer.

According to dooww.com – A section of the Wildwoods Boardwalk between Rio Grande and Burk Avenues, that had been closed to all but pedestrian traffic at the end of the 2019 season, will be repaired and reopened in time for the 2020 season.

The City of Wildwood, the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA) and the Wildwoods Boardwalk Special Improvement District, Management Corporation (WSID), all coordinated in the effort to secure approximately $320,000 in funding to make the needed structural repairs.

Work is slated to commence in early March and the repairs will take approximately one month to complete.
