Fabulous ’50s & Beyond Celebration

Friday night features a Nifty ’50s Dance Party with The Cameos at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 7 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 plus tax per person. A FREE street fair will take place at Fox Park in Wildwood on Saturday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. featuring classic cars, food and craft vendors, a Doo Wop Bus Tour, and live entertainment. Saturday night features a star-studded concert in the Wildwoods Convention Center featuring Bobby Rydell, Little Anthony & The Imperials, and Shirley Alston Reeves, along with special guest the Tee Tones. Halloween House Decorating Contest

Halloween house decorating competition for North Wildwood and West Wildwood residents only. Prizes will be awarded to Most Creative, Judge’s Pick, and Best Overall. Registration forms are available at the North Wildwood Recreation Center. Lighthouse Challenge of New Jersey

Visit New Jersey’s historic lighthouses and select affiliated museums will host a “Lighthouse Challenge of New Jersey” weekend. 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.; rain or shine. Visitors will enjoy the opportunity to tour the state and visit participating land-based lighthouses, 2 museums, and 2 life-saving stations over the weekend, as well as help raise funds for continued lighthouse preservation, education and restoration. The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse in North Wildwood is included in the challenge. NJBBA’s Great Fall Classic Surf Fishing Tournament

Registration at the Anglesea Fire house, 201 New Jersey Avenue, North Wildwood begins at 5 a.m. ASAC sanctioned tournament will run from 7 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. An all-new RV show will be held inside the Wildwoods Convention Center featuring the best-selling recreational vehicles from New Jersey’s biggest RV dealers including Dylan’s RV Center, Driftwood RV Center, Whitehorse RV Center, Cross Roads Trailers, and Scott Motor Coach RV Center. Many vehicles will be clearance priced and trades are also welcome. Admission is $10 per day and parking is FREE. Bonfire on the Beach

Enjoy a bonfire on the beach from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. at 1st and Surf Avenues in North Wildwood with live entertainment. Refreshments and food will be available for purchase. Admission is $10; children 12 and under are $2. Bring a beach chair and enjoy a great Fall night on the beach! Sponsored by the Anglesea Irish Society and the Greater Wildwood Jaycees. {Rain date is the following Saturday.}

Indian Summer Beach Fest ~ NEW!

Festival will be held on the beach at Taylor Avenue from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. featuring food, arts, and music along with a kids hay maze, a Fall Wine Tasting from Shannon Ridge Wine, a Taste of the World dinner tasting from local chefs, a wine and paint party, and showcases from local artists. The festival has free entry, but also ticketed components such as seminars in the Main Tent, zip line, zorb balls and more. Wildwoods Boardwalk 5K Pumpkin Run

The Wildwoods Boardwalk Pumpkin Run is a ghoulishly fun and exciting family event for all ages Halloween Weekend. This festive boardwalk event offers a 5K run along with a 1 mile family walk, starting at 10 a.m. – rain or shine. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes to vie for the prizes in the best dressed categories of Family, Youth, Infant, and Best All Around. All proceeds benefit the Elementary Schools of the Wildwoods.
