PPlease be aware that due to some lifeguards heading back to school early, some of our beaches are now unprotected. As of today, the following are unprotected: 23rd, 17th, 10th, and 8th Avenue beaches. Also, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 4, the Inlet beach will not be protected. There may be more by Monday, Aug. 27.
Do not swim on beaches without a lifeguard.
