For 50 years the American Legion Post 184 in Wildwood has been calling bingo. This year, Post 184 hopes to expand their weekly attendance and welcome new players. Bingo takes place every Wednesday at 7:30 PM, with doors opening at 5:30 PM, at the Post located at 4200 Atlantic Avenue. This long standing tradition has continued to entertain the local community, but through the winter months attendance slowed.

“We are open for bingo and need more players,” said Post Commander Harry Weimar. “Bingo is a tradition at the Post and is a lot of fun. In the summer we will have a lot of people, but the winter was slow. We would like to remind people we are still here.”

Bingo at Post 184 provides an excellent opportunity to get out of the house now that Spring has arrived. Admission for bingo is only $3, and cards vary from $1-$5 each. Jackpots are progressive and grow each week, adding excitement to the game.

All funds raised stay with Post 184, which has helped the local community tremendously through the years
