Mayor Patrick Rosenello said Aug. 20 during the North Wildwood City Council meeting.  “Parts of the seawall have collapsed”

The water is about 60 feet deep near the wall and due to the narrowing of North Wildwood Hereford Inlet.

Dredging would have to be done and boulders removed and used to rebuild the sections.

The question now is will taxpayers or the Coastal Barrier Resources Act (CBRA) pay for the cost of the repairs.
